Motivation

The level of motivation of learners is an important indicator of the quality of learning as an emotional experience. Learners who are emotionally involved in their study will deepen their learning, increase their attention span and adopt many other recognizable features of good learning. Stimulating and maintaining motivation for learners with SEBD are frequently the main problems for educators. So how can this be achieved? (Figure (1) Social skills) presents some ideas and indeed these can be utilized in all Key Stages and in all subject areas.
