Be sure to have fun
2:1:5 2025-02-17 1605

You have to make time each day for fun, simplicity and laughter.

Look at the kids running around the yard and you’ll quickly think: “They’re having so much fun, why is this happening?” A better question is: Why aren’t you having fun? Children run and play as if it’s instinct. They don’t wonder if they should be having fun, they just go out and do it. Adults have responsibilities, and they’re serious. Ask a friend to join you in the fun, and you might hear: “I don’t have time for that.” Imagine asking a little girl if she likes going to the zoo, and she says: “I’ll tell you later, I’m busy right now!” Sometimes children know better than we do. Having fun and making time for simplicity and pure happiness is a vital part of everyday life.

Fun is one of the five essential factors that lead to a contented life. People who spend their time just having fun feel 20% happier every day, and this percentage increases to 36% who feel happy as they progress through life.
