The girl may sometimes make mistakes or deviate as the boy does, and there is no doubt that mistakes and deviations must be confronted.
However, the father's dealings with the girl differ from his dealings with the boy, as it is not right for fathers to resort to roughness with girls, despite its immediate effect and the temporary solution to the problem.
