This is a question, the answer to which is important. Should the child himself be encouraged and appreciated, or his work and behavior emanating from him? Educators' opinions differ in this regard. The point of support and encouragement should be for behavior and action, not for the child's personality. We must praise the work and say it was a good job and it was well done.
