One of the things that Islam encourages is sponsoring an orphan, and the meaning of sponsorship is that you provide all the necessary necessities for the orphan so that he can take care of himself without the need for anyone’s help. The individual sponsors orphans according to his capacity between one and ten, and even more than that, while public institutions and charities have to establish social care institutions that reach a larger segment through the establishment of institutions and schools that take care of large numbers of them, while the responsibility of the ruler and the government includes every orphan in society,
The holy prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him and his progeny) said: (He who takes care of three orphans is like one who prays at night and fasts during the day, and goes with his sword unsheathed for the sake of Allah, and he and I will be brothers in Paradise just as these two are sisters - and he stuck his index and middle fingers together.
What a great reward you will receive for supporting three orphans! For he is considered from the Sharia point of view, like one who worships at night, fasts during the day, and strives for the sake of Allah Almighty, and despite all that, he becomes a brother to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). Such a reward requires us to sacrifice our souls for this cause, so how about when its price is a handful of money, the loss of which will not affect you. It will not go away because, as promised by Allah Almighty and His Messenger in the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), where he said: (There is no shortage of money from charity, so give and do not be cowardly).
Since the promise of Allah that the money will not decrease, and since this money, will bring me great hasanat (reward), then whoever leaves spending it in this field does not know his interest even in simple worldly commercial accounts.
